WILLIAM III (1650-1702). King of England.
Autograph Letter Signed ('Prince d'Orange') in French, to Le Comte de Waldec, 1 page 4to (upper right hand corner torn with partial loss of date and one word), 5 July [pre 1689]. Written during the course of William's long European wars against the French, reporting his safe arrival, without encountering the enemy, and that he has received Waldec's letters and will proceed on horseback.
Autograph letters of William III are rare.
