Important and largely unpublished Autograph Letter Signed to [Hannah] Lawrance marked 'Confidential', 4 pages 8vo, neatly inlaid, 17 Elm Tree Road, Friday, no date (c.1841) Warning her frankly about her commission to review articles for a magazine and against publishing a book in two volumes, and mentioning a legal case he is currently embroiled in with the publisher Shoberl.
