Illustrated Autograph Letter Signed to Mr Williams, 1 page 8vo with integral blank, White Hart Hotel, Greenhithe, Kent, 23 May no year (watermark. 1871). Explaining that he could not attend the next meeting of the Maybury Club, illustrating his own predicament, and sketching the male and female varieties of the 'seven and a half' inhabitants of Greenhithe.
